"Would love for him to manage a team in India"!
Montalbano! now we are talking the same languag, but the original series please.
I think he should have spoken more loudly then she would understand.............for schure.
I fail to see how he is "clearly not that" inspirational player in the heart of midfield. Sure there is an issue and I admit that it has become unclear exactly what the issue is but we are forgetting how lit up the entire situation in his first few games with us. Definitely inspirational at his best. I don't understand the general switch of tone from light to shade about this player. Yep he came in for big money, but I feel like peoples negative perceptions are off as a result perhaps.
Look at how long it took Sissoko to figure out how to make himself useful in the team. He was given lots of time. Even Son took a season or two to get into his full stride. Even Modric needed a season to become his best.
It seems like peoples fuses are very short with this guy and I can't fathom why exactly. Maybe I just don't get it.
Sissoko, Son and Modric may have all taken a while to adjust, but you couldn't fault their workrate while they got there.
Ndombele looks unfit and not particularly bothered about it.
It's a little early to judge him and it's clear that he's got a lot of ability, but his season has basically been a write-off.
As PNP says how can you be inspirational if you can't be bothered to look for space to receive the ball or run and harry when you lose the ball or are trying to retrieve it. Standing around and jogging is not the way you play football in the highly competitive PL. In fact if you look at the last few games of NDombele he is the exact opposite of inspirational, more like Marvin the depressed robot. Yeah 62 million and they want me to run after balls! That's right we do.
One obvious thing to note is that he worked very well in a midfield three - but switching to a two-man pivot has highlighted his weaknesses
This doesn't mean he can't work in a two-man pivot, however, as Lyon played with one last season - the difference being that alongside him he had either Toussart in the defensive role or Aouar in the Modric-like role, while for us he's playing alongside either Winks or Sissoko in an ersatz DM role
I consider NDombele to be in exactly the same position that Lamela
was after season 1 in terms of fitness etc. I hope it doesn't play out
over his Spurs career as it has for Lamela.
If terms of ability, what little he has played this season IMHO has
showed precisely why Spurs paid what they did for the guy.
I am looking forward to seeing the PL match-fit version very soon.
Oh ****ing hell...
So according to the Mirror (and backed up by Polish sources...I think) he had a trial at the club ten years ago where we could have signed him for £100k, but The Honest & Humble Saint Harry of Redknapp passed on him
Just remember that in the event of paying Napoli somewhere between £35-40m for him, specifically the part on who it was who passed on him...
In those ten years we would have managed to ruin him
Pretty sure that, even if we did, we'd have made at least 5000% of what we initially paid for him
Hmm, I wonder which part of our team could be dramatically improved...
The Fail are reporting that DL has sanctioned the sale of Harry Kane this summer for 200 million
Firstly who has the money to pay this for a player now
Secondly who would we replace him with
Thirdly who the F**K believes the Fail
If the club sell Kane this summer then all hell will break out and Levy will not survive.
I wouldn't turn down £200m...!
The Wail also say that 900+ people dying doesn't matter because Alexander Boris de Pfeffel Johnson got better
first bit isn’t our problem
Second bit Levy doesn’t care about
In which case I think it’s very possible
Were you actually following the club in 2008? if you were you'd know how Levy absolutely refused to engage with Man Utd's attempts to unsettle Berbatov, to the point that they literally had to kidnap him to sign him...
